EGO Power Plus is probably the most popular brand for cordless garden tools. It makes sense then to consider the EGO Power+ LB5302 if you’re looking for a new leaf blower. The trusted 56V ARC Lithium battery platform includes all the gardening tools you could ever want, making this a very practical choice. As a recognized and respected brand, you will always be able to find replacement batteries and spare parts.
The EGO Power+ LB5302 is a blast, with a pretty powerful motor, providing a very reasonable 530 CFM, capable of blowing leaves and debris up to 110 MPH.
I guess no one is particularly blown away by leaf blowers. They’re not all that exciting but we depend on them all year round to keep our yards free of leaves and other unwanted debris. As an essential part of your gardening tool repertoire, choosing the best leaf blower is a pretty important decision.
Now that I’m all out of leaf blower puns, it’s time to get down to business – a review of the quite spectacular, and extremely popular, EGO Power+ 3-speed leaf blower.

Review:
The EGO Power+ LB5302 is not their most powerful model. In fact, it’s the second least powerful. They have a bunch of options, with the mighty 800 CFM LBPX8004-2 commercial backpack leaf blower topping the list.
Despite being one of the less powerful EGO Power+ leaf blower, the LB5302 is the most popular. I guess, people love the value for money aspect. It is relatively inexpensive, and the 530 CFM maximum power rating is quite ample for the average yard. For a more powerful leaf blower for homeowners, you might want to consider the EGO Power+ LB6500 with 650 CFM, or the more powerful 765 CFM EGO Power+ LB7654.
However, we’re sticking with the immensely popular LBPX8004-2 model for this review, which includes a 2.5 AH 56V ARC Lithium battery, giving you even more bang for your buck. In these inflationary times, getting added value is always a plus.
The machine is as dependable as we’ve come to expect from the brand. Quality has become an expectation from EGO Power+ cordless tools. It’s well-designed, with a sturdy body and low vibration. I like the way a stand has been molded into the base of the machine, making it very easy to place on the ground safely, without damaging it.
It has a beautifully sculpted handle, which is incredibly comfortable to hold with good padding. The trigger switch is just where you want it, with a lock-on button at the top of the handle within easy reach of your thumb. At only 7.4 pounds with the battery, it’s lightweight and super-easy to use.
The brushless motor has proven to be as reliable as they come. It’s quite powerful and wonderfully efficient, providing up to 75 minutes of runtime from a 2.5 AH battery. This would be when using the lowest of the three power settings (250 CFM). If you’re blasting away using the turbo mode, providing 530 CFM, your runtime will be about half this amount, about 30 minutes, which is still pretty reasonable.
Using this leaf blower on a Sunday morning should not infuriate your neighbors, as it’s quieter than most at only 64dBA when using maximum power. Okay, this is not whisper quiet. Then again, show me a leaf blower that is.
The most compelling reason to choose the EGO Power+ 56V battery platform is the incredible range of products that all utilize the same battery. This means one charger for all your cordless garden equipment, with a battery that can be used to power all of them. The brand has an excellent reputation for service and parts availability.
